Comment to those looking at my sermons: Life changing wisdom and revelation
Sermon or series that made a difference: The love of Christ
One of my favorite illustrations: a man, who kept a large Snake as a pet. He used to take pride, in showing it to the public and playing with it. People used to enjoy the show and throw money to him. One day, as usual, he took the snake on the public street and allowed the snake to coil around him, with its uplifted hood. Unlike other days, the snake behaved in a very strange manner, In the struggle for life, the Snake crushed him and he died on the spot. Sin is like playing with a snake,
Family: Married to Elaios Abraham, blessed with 2 sons - Vivek Abraham and Stephen Abraham studying in UGC and 11th respectively
What my parents think of my sermons: Very Delighted and heart touching
What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: Encouraging, inspiring, and innovative to transform life
Best advice given to me about preaching: No matter where we are in life, no matter in what condition we find ourselves, no matter how far we might astray away, or how unfaithful we are, God, the supreme lover, will pursue us in love for eternity.
Books that have had an impact: Bible is the single most important book made me think the most and changed the way I see the world.
Hobbies: Reading, writing, Teaching, counseling, Gardening and Music in spare time.
If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Something funny that happened while preaching: I quoted a verses from Proverbs 20:1 which says “Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise.” Among the listeners one person was fully drank, he came forward and started crying loudly and said I want to stop drinking but he said give me microphone I will preach first
What I want on my tombstone: Death is the golden key that opens the palace of Eternity. Departed from the body and present with Our Lord
