Supreme Power God- A Scientific Attitude

Balram Kumar Mani Tripathi

In Śrīmad Bhagavadgītā Lord Kṛṣņa has said that He is giving this knowledge to Arjuna, the dearest disciple and simplest man. The word Arjuna is derived from the word Ṛju-the simple and straight.

(VII. 2)

Kṛṣņa says- "Arjuna," I am giving you that knowledge by which there remains nothing else to know. It is science-‒a systematic knowledge to seek the Supreme, the universal truth and perfection in the real sense." If we see, scientific facts bear it out as-

(Gītā XVIII. 61)

"Arjuna, God abides in the heart of all creatures, causing them to revolve according to their Karma by his illusive power, seated as those beings are in the vehicle of the body."

If we see atomic structure, we get this fact in nucleus (proton and neutron). Positive charge creates such atmosphere in which electrons in different orbits move around the nucleus. If we go in depth we see our scientists have already proved this fact that if we break matter (solid, liquid or gases) at last we get three fundamental particles electron, proton and neutron. Just as Tridhā Śakti-Brahmā, Viṣņu and Śiva or Mahāsarasvati, Mahālakṣmi and Mahākālī.

Matter, energy and space are the three parts of this universe, like Sat, Cit and Ānanda are three parts of the Supreme God.

Matter, energy and space are material but, God is above this material universe i.e., Cidākāśa. We are unable to think Cidākāśa because our mind, intellect and ego impede us in realising God in true sense. Here I am trying to explain in brief the similarity between thinking of scientists and Ślokas of the Gītā    which give spiritual and mystical clarification. Electron-

Electron-

An electron looks like Brahmā-the creator of this world. Electrons move around the nucleus and only electrons are creator of a new compound. Very small-a tiny mass but very powerful for creation. It works with negative charge. With the help of proton it moves and moves around the nucleus-as Brahmā sitting on the Nabhi Kamala (navel lotus) of Lord Viṣņu.

Proton-

A proton looks like Viṣņu, a guide, patron and protector of this world, positively charged particle with mass equal to Hydrogen. The attractional force between proton and electron becomes centripetal force which enforces electrons to move around the nucleus in different orbitals. Only presence of positively charged proton is enough to move electron. As omnipresence of Viṣņu is enough for creation of this universe to Brahmā.

Neutron-

A neutron looks like Śiva, the annihilator of this world, the God of Samhāra. Just like neutron plays important role in nuclear fission or fusion. Neutrons are the ideal projectiles for nuclear bombardment because they have electrical charge and thus suffer no repulsion in their approach to atomic nuclei. The nuclei of U238 or U235 were split neutrons into two nearly equal parts.

92U235+ on1 → 92U 236 = 56 Ba144 + 36 Kr89 +3on1+200 Mev. 56

In this way liberates 200 Mev energy per atom. Thus we get a branching chain reactions and in no time many of the nuclei of Uranium in a given piece of this material break up with liberation of tremendous amount of energy. This energy can ruin the earth, kill lives of living being (the Carācara Jagat).

In nuclear fusion- ₄1H1 → 2He + 2e++ 26 Mev

In nuclear fusion the smaller nuclei are joined to make a larger one, also release large amount of energy. The radio active particles can ruin the living being in future also. Like the third eye of Śiva-it is God of death. The third eye of Śiva when opened destroys the earth in no time.

Lord Kṛṣņa in the Gītā has also spoken the electronic configuration as God when He wished to create this world, split it in two parts-(1) Puruṣa and (2) Prakṛti. Puruṣa the heart of the atom and Prakṛti the outer part of the atomic orbitals. In first orbit two Prakṛti (1) Parā (2) Aparā (just like male and female) two electrons move around the nucleus.

In the second orbit eight electrons are moving around the nucleus-as Bhūmi, water, air, Agni, Ākāśa, mind (Mana) intellect (Buddhi), ego (Ahaṁkāra) are the Aṣṭadhā

Prakṛti moving around the Viṣņu, the divine soul.

(VII.4)

"Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, reason and also ego, these constitute, my nature eight-fold divided."

My Parā Prakṛti in the heart and Aparā Prakṛti in the outside in eight parts move around myself. God is Akṣara and Jagat is Kṣara. Kṛṣņa has said that-

(VII. 5)

"This indeed is my lower (material) nature, the other than this, by which the whole universe is sustained-know the it to be my higher (or spiritual) nature in form of Jiva, the life principle.

In the third orbit there are eighteen electrons moving around the nucleus as five Jñānendriyas + five Karmendriyas+ five Tanmātrās + three Guņas- Satoguņa, Rajoguņa and Tamoguņa = eighteen moves around the Supreme Power, the derived soul. The eighteen chapters of Gita, the eighteen thousand Ślokas of Śrīmad Bhāgavata and the eighteen Mahā Purāṇas, show the most important role of number eighteen.

In Sāṅkhya Maharṣi Kapila has explained the detail orbital functions like K, L, M, N, O shell-five shells have been described in Adhyātma.

(1) Annamaya Shell                                      Outer Shell

(2) Prāṇamaya Shell                                     Outer Shell

(3) Manomaya Shell                                    Outer Shell

(4) Vijñānamaya Shell                                  Outer Shell

(5) Ānandamaya Shell                                 Inner Shell

These five shells are five layers covering the Supreme Power. Maharṣi Kapila has explained about other orbits and number of electrons moving around.

I have described in short the scientific forces (points) which can be seen in Śrīmad Bhagavadgītā. Perhaps this will be a scientific attitude towards God and Nature. The Supreme Power, which with the help of Mahāmāyā creates this universe, expands and guides all along lies in the sea of milk (Satoguņa) with all His attractional forces-Lord Kṛṣņa is the universal gravitational force.

"Every particle of matter in the universe attracts every other particle with a force proportional to the product of the masses of the particles, and universally proportional to the square of the distance between them" Newtons Law of Universal Gravitation.

Kṛṣyate -Kṛṣņa (कृष्यते अनेनेति कृष्ण:) if a creature goes far from 'God' loses attraction but if it comes nearer to God experiences more and more attraction. Viṣņu is like electrical force 'viṣlṛ vyāpnoti Viṣņu'. ' विष्लृ व्याप्नोति विष्णुः' looks in every atom. With the force of Viṣņu, Brahmā creates this world. Survival of the universe depends upon the Cidānandamaya body of the Supreme.

(VII. 6)

"All beings have evolved from this twofold Prakṛti and that I am the source of the entire creation, and into Me again it disappears."

In Mahābhārata-

Tama is the cause of three Teja-the sun, the fire and the moon. The birth, life and death depend upon the Supreme Will. 'Ra'-Agni, 'Ā-Sürya, 'Ma'-Candrama. Durga is the whole Prakrti i.e., materialistic attractions and attraction between nucleus and orbital electrons. In this way matter, energy and space are the three legs of this universe, Supreme Power is the creator of all.
