Counter terror operations should continue in mission mode Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday directed that counter terror operations targeting terrorist infrastructure and terror financing should continue in mission mode in Jammu and Kashmir.

Chairing a security review meeting on J&K in the national capital, Shah directed all security agencies to remain alert and continue to work in synergy to ensure that the gains achieved after abrogation of Article 370 are sustained and the goal of ‘terror-free J&K’ is achieved at the earliest.

He assured that all the resources will be made available to meet this endeavour.

The meeting was attended by J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, IB chief Tapan Deka, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, J&K DGP, Chief Secretary and chiefs of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
