2 hybrid militants arrested

Two hybrid militants were apprehended by security forces in Boniyar area of Baramulla district today. A police official said that a joint team of Dagger Division/Pir Panjal Brigade and Baramulla Police apprehended two hybrid militants after infiltrating into social media groups and precise tracking.

He said that by apprehending these hybrid militants, a major tragedy was averted by security forces on the eve of Republic Day.  He said two pistols, two grenades, two magazines, 24 rounds, one silencer and other incriminating material have been recovered from their possession.  A case has been registered and further investigations have been taken up.
