The police today arrested three persons for pasting posters and displaying banners of militants in south Kashmir.

“The Awantipora police along with 50 RR arrested three persons for glorifying terrorism by pasting posters and displaying banners of terrorists in Pampore town on September 6,” the police spokesman said.

They have been identified as Nadeem Ahmad Dar, a resident of Dranbal, Pampore, Irshad Ahmad Sofi, a resident of Tulbagh, Pampore, and Shakir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Jalalabad, Sopore, Baramulla. The spokesman said “incriminating material” including two computer systems with accessories and one printer have been seized from a printing press — Rampage Advertising Agency, Rengreth, Srinagar, by the officers.
