Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) Subedar Rajesh Kumar of 43 RR was killed as Pakistan violated ceasefire along the LoC in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir late Tuesday night.

Jammu-based Defence PRO Lt Col Devender Anand said the incident took place in Keri sector of Rajouri. The mortal remains of Kumar, who belonged to Kalichpur Kalota near Mukerian in Hoshiarpur, will reach his village on Thursday. This is the second such killing in the past four days along the LoC in Poonch and Rajouri sectors. — TNS
