युह् यि कर् म करि प्यत्रुन पानस्,

अर्जु न-वर्जु न ब्ययिस क्युत।

अन्ति लागि रोस पुशिरून स्वात्मस् ,

अदॅ यूर्य् गछ़ि तॅ तेर्य् छुम हयोत।

अर्थात् 

जो भी कर्म मैं करूं उसकी पर्ण करने का भार मुझे ही वहन करना है; किन्तु (उस) कर्मफलके अजंन और बटवारे में औरों का भाग है। यदि अन्त में निस्पृह होकर मैं कर्मफल स्वात्मार्पण करूं, तो जहाँ कहीं  भी मैं जाऊं  वही मेरे  लिए हितकर होगा।
