February already appears warmer than usual, and we may experience many more unusually hot days in the coming weeks. The summer ahead could turn out to be one of the hottest this year. At the same time, the ongoing war in West Asia has created many uncertainties. In such a situation, it is important for us to remain careful and alert. However, there is no reason for panic-only a need to stay watchful and prepared.

Education

The board's examination is going in Delhi. We hope our community wards who appeared in 10th and 12th exams will come out with flying colours when the results declared. All the best to our community wards.

Admissions to Various Technical Institutions

Our community wards who are appearing in Class 12th and Class 10th are hereby informed the dates has been announced by CBSE Delhi. Class 12th from 17th February 2026 to 28th March 2026 (including). Class 10th from 17th February to 10th March 2026 (including). Those community wards who have completed their 12th grade board exams and wish to seek admission in technical institutions across India can contact our Secretary (Education), Shri T.N. Gurtoo at Mobile No. 9958185705 for guidance and assistance. We request all the wards who need migrant certificate can approach this office for a 8 recommendation letter. The following documents are needed to process the migration certificate a) Photocopy of the migrant registration card. b) Photocopy of the 10th-grade certificate. c) Aadhaar cards of the parents and the student. d) A letter addressed to the President of the Kashmiri Samiti Delhi mentioning the current address and mobile number. Admission of Kendriya Vidyalaya's

This is to inform all baradari members who seek admission of their wrds in Kendri Vidyalaya The Kendri Vidyalaya Sangathan order No. 110331-08/2022/KVSHQ/Acad/2123-52 dated 16, 17 March 2022 will remain in effect till further orders. The parents of the migrant wards can approach the Office of KSD for obtaining the recommendation letter. The concerned parents are requested to bring following documents. (a) Migrant Card, (b) Birth certificate of ward, (c) Aadhar Cards of father and child, (d) A letter addressed to the President of the Kashmiri Samiti Delhi mentioning the curren address and mobile number. Admission in Delhi University for the Academic Session 2026-2027

Shri T.N. Gurtoo, Secretary Education (KSD), approached Delhi University on February 9, 2026, regarding concessions for the wards of Kashmiri Migrants. Consequently, Prof. Haneet Gandhi, Dean (Admissions), University of Delhi, issued the Bulletin of Information for undergraduate admissions under supernumerary seats for the Academic Year 2026-2027.

Reservation of Kashmiri Migrants (KM)

1. All the wards (sons/daughters) of Kashmiri Migrants who wish to be considered for admission to various undergraduate programs of the University have to register online as per the schedule notified by the University.

2. Up to 5% seats are reserved program-wise in all colleges for the wards of Kashmiri Migrants.

 3. All the wards of Kashmiri Migrants will have to upload a certificate of registration as Kashmiri Migrants issued by the concerned SDMs of Delhi/Relief Commissioner, Jammu. Admission of wards of Kashmiri Migrants will be based on cut-offs to be announced by the Colleges. A concession of maximum 10% in the last cut-off marks fixed for unreserved category candidates shall be extended to the Kashmiri Migrants. Reservation under this category is not available in programs where admission is based on entrance tests.

Construction of our dream Kashmir Bhawan

We are short of funds to get the completion of our dream Kashmir Bhawan. Our team is working hard to get the required funds for the completion of this dream Bhawan. The work which is pending is plumbing and fire fighting and the equipments which we have to install. Road work of the entire building. Lift for the building and the remaining interior work. Granite work for the basement and first floor is completed. Both the stairs are completed with complete granite work. We request all the worth community members to donate generously for the cause to get the completion certificate from the competent Authority. We are very eager to get the building inauguration very soon. We are giving the Samiti Account details on Page No. 2. All the donations shall be accepted under 80 G Certificate.

Monthly Monetary Certificate

Kashmiri Samiti Delhi under the leadership of its president Sh. Sumeer Chrungoo and vice President Sh. Sanjay Koul, Sh. Ashok Trisal, Sh. Ashok Handoo had several meetings with the Divisional Commissioner and Revenue Authorities during the month of February resulted the smooth disbursement of the AMR to the worthy member account. Further to this team KSD is in touch with the MHA for the clearance of the file which is pending for the go-ahead of the Govt of Delhi order to give Amnesty to the beneficiaries and to remove the income cap from the present relief policy. We know our worthy members who are dependent on the monetary support facing too much hardship. KSD team is always stand with the community. We are hopeful the disbursement of monetary support to the beneficiary may get smooth in coming months. Navratra is coming in this month. May Mata Durga shower her blessings upon the exile community. Navreh celebration is approaching soon. on behalf my entire executive council of KSD wishing you and your family Happy Navratri and Nevreh.
