New Threats to Kashmiri Pandits by TRF Suspicious Comments by Dynastic Rulers about KP s

New terror threat is issued to the Kashmirn Pandits by the terror organizations like TRF recently? As of February 2026, The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has issued fresh threats to Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley. These threats have triggered fear and led to calls for increased security, with reports indicating a return of targeted intimidation tactics for the KP's living or serving in Kashmir. The contexts of these threats are equally seen as a reaction to the regular demands of the displaced Kashmiri Pandits for their home land and return to Kashmir with dignity and honor. In this context it is imperatively essential to see these threats through the prism of the recent unqualified and sarcastic utterances of Dr. Farooq Abdullah about the return of Kashmiri Pandits to Kashmir while giving an interview to the media correspondents In his statement about the Kashmiri Pandits, Dr. Farooq Abdullah has been heard sayingthat hedoes not think Kashmiri Pandits want to live in Valley permanently: The statement of the former Chief Minister came on a day when the displaced community is observing January 19 as 'Holocaust Day' to mark their exodus from the Valley in 1990. He has said that after decades of living elsewhere, Pandits may not make a permanent return to the Valley. It was nothing short of adding salt to their bleeding wounds as usual. Is this statement of his getting synchronizing with the new terror threat issued to the Kashmiri Pandits by the terror organizations like TRF recently? These threats have been issued in 14 the name of the "Falcon Squad," a group linked to the TRF. The threats warn Kashmiri Pandits against returning to the Valley and are aimed at disrupting the peace that had largely held for the past three years. Dr. Faro Abdullah while expressing that the KP's have freedom to return, he further emphasized that no one is preventing them from returning to their original homes. It is a spineless remark which needs to be condemned by all counts. This is where he is speaking the language of separatists and terrorists for his vote bank politics to rule J & K as a perpetual dynastic ruler. He is ignoring wilfully the circumstances in which the KP's were forced to leave their birth places in Kashmir empty handed after their death and destruction by the Islamic fundamentalists with guns in their hands. Has Dr. Farooq or his political party the national conference eve condemned it? Yes, whenever attempts were made by the administration to rehabilitate the displaced KP's in clusters or recommending separate home land for them, Dr. Farooq was the principle opponent for such proposals, when he would say in broad day light that suc settlement of KP's in Kashmir will not be allowed thus singing the same song of the separatists which made KP's to leave Kashmir in agony an pain. In fact it is Dr. Farooq who would usual say and comment upon any terror attack Kashmir resulting in death and destruction tha there is no remedy to militancy, other than talking to Pakistan about the fate of Kashmir. Dr. Farooq and his political party is square responsible for the extreme militancy and terro operations both home grown and from acros the border in Kashmir in the years Who does not know that how elections were rigged in 1988, by the ruling national conference of which Dr. Farooq Abdullah was the chief minister, when democracy thrown to winds, which resulted in extreme militancy in Kashmir? It made the young majority population of Kashmir to take to guns and cross the border and get training in militancy in Pakistan for the same. It is corroborated by the fact that when the militancy was at peak in Kashmir in January 1990, he choose to run away from Kashmir to some foreign country, leaving the Kashmiri people to the onslaught of the extreme acts of barbaric terrorism, in which the Kashmiri Pandits were the main targets. As the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir at that point of time, how could he leave the such a situation of extreme terror in Kashmir into the hands of militants and run away from the scene and go to some foreign country, getting KP's killed in cold blood and deep anguish. In fact such a circumstantial evidence shows that he knew everything about the spread and onslaught of militancy in Kashmir at that point of time fully. Should it be concluded that he is an abettor in regard to the mass genocide, mass killings, rape, arson and the forced exit of KP's from Kashmir, in 1990, who are still living the lives of refugees in distress in their own country but away from their original places of birth the Kashmir. Dr. Farooq should feel shy for giving sermons about the displaced KP's under the circumstances mentioned above. Who is he to dictate the KP's like this. Is Kashmir his ancestral hereditary estate? Have the Kashmiri Pandits to seek the permission of Dr. Farooq Abdullah for coming back to Kashmir. Unfortunately these remarks of his coincided with the 36th sad anniversary of the Kashmiri Pandits exodus from Kashmir. What is he trying to convey to Kashmiri Pandits. Yes, he is telling the Kashmiri Pandits that forget about Kashmir, live somewhere else. This is what the terror organizations have again repeated. Does it mean that he is speaking the same language which the separatists are speaking? Or is he speaking as a self styled" Nawab" of Kashmir because of his dynasty links withthe impious governance of Kashmir since 1947, when his father was installed as the Prime Minister of after ousting the great king of Jammu & Kashmir Maharaja Hari Singh India supported and abetted by Jawahir Lal Nehru the then prime minister of India. Who does not know that this dynasty of Dr. Farooq Abdullah has been ruling Kashmir through proxy and with the exploitation of the common majority Muslim population of Kashmir, for the last more than thirty years. His father Sh. Sheikh Abdullah ruled Kashmir for about 12 years. Initially he was the prime minister of Kashmir from 1947 to 1953 and then stooped so low for power and accepted the post of chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir after signing "Indra-Sheikh Accord" from 1976 to 1982. Не cheated and deceived the majority Muslims of Kashmir for power, by compromising on his political aims and objectives, when he resumed power back as the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, while having been removed asthe prime minister of Jammu and Kashmir, after remaining in wilderness for more than almost twenty years along with being in jail for a long time. After his demise again the congress party of India led by Smt. Indra Gandhi, the then prime minister of India, handed over the reins of power of Jammu and Kashmir to his son Dr. Farooq Abdulla. Dr. Farooq Abdullah remained as chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir for more than eleven years from time to time. Then his son Sh. Omar Abdullah was crowned as the crown prince of Jammu and Kashmir, who has been the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir for the last seven years including his fresh term as the chief Minister. It makes that the sheikh dynasty has ruled Jammu and Kashmir for more than thirty years since 1947 and are still ruling Jammu and Kashmir when Sh. Omar Abdullah will continue to be the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir for another more than four years if all goes well. Out of seventy eight years of rule in Jammu and Kashmir, sheikh dynasty has ruled Jammu and Kashmir for about thirty years, when the ruling monarchs presently are again the sheikh dynasty. Is It because of this that Dr. Farooq Abdullah is saying that Kashmiri Pandits will not come to Kashmir back as the self-styled" Nawab" of Kashmir, apart from being the sympathizer of the secessionist forces both by proxy and verbose. If so, it is quite unfortunate and disgraceful. Now The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has issued fresh threats to Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir Valley, the cognizance of which needs to be taken seriously by the Government of India, before there is another exodus of the left over KP's from Kashmir and equally the KP employees working under some package programs do not be forced to leave their jobs and forcibly leave Kashmir under such threat perceptions. It will be another disastrous situation for the already suffering KP's, which needs to be immediately taken care of by the Government of India. The union territory Government of Jammu and Kashmir have not and will not condemn such terror threats as they are privy to it silently in all respects, and are not at all concerned and interested about the safe return of the displaced KP's back to Kashmir. It is now an Islamic Kashmir, where no other person other than a Muslim has a place to live. With the brute advent of militancy in the year 1989-90, during the national conference rule, abetted by the sympathetic support of the Congress party from Delhi, the situation for the KP's became a death knell for them. Mass genocide and exodus of the KP's occurred, which is reverberating still on the fascia and the minds of the KP's and will continue to be so as long as humanity exists in this universe. Prominent leaders, intellectuals, politicians, individuals, government officers and the like amongst the KP's were brutally killed in broad day lights in thousands, along with the mass migration of this minuscule community to their destinations of devastations. It shows an extreme apathy of the government which could do anything and proper to save the KP's from such selected killings by 16 the terrorists. It has put the KP's in extreme despair, to crave for their existence as a community of aboriginal connection with Kashmir valley. Does it mean that Kashmiri Pandits have to forget their birthplace and homeland Kashmir? Why cannot the terror of the Jehadi's and their actions be resisted with an appropriate response by the government and KP's rehabilitated back in Kashmir with honor and dignity. In fact, no state hood should be granted to Jammu and Kashmir unless there is an improvement in such types of terror threat perceptions, which bear an underground support from most of the ruling political parties of Kashmir, for their political advantages and luxuries. In fact this union territory of Jammu and Kashmir deserves full central rule and not a democratic rule, as there appears to be no other alternative beyond that to combat militancy and acts of terrorism in Kashmir fully. To rehabilitee the forcibly displaced KP's, back in Kashmir, the only solution under the circumstances is to create a "separate homeland" for the KP's, with in Kashmir, having a status of "Union Territory". It has been repeatedly demanded by KP's for the last more than two decades but there is no response from any of the governments, be it state government or the central government. Now the so called intelligent educated youth like doctors and the like from the valley, are the new modular radicalized terrorists from Kashmir, supposedly with deep bases across the border and Kashmir valley. Their brute actions of mass killings are vivid from such actions of theirs while conducting bomb blast at Red Fort Delhi, when dozens of innocent people were killed for no fault of theirs No one from the valley including the ruling regime ever condemned their actions with force and echo. How can they tolerate Kashmiri Pandits back in valley unless they are not protected well? For this the only solution is to provide the forcibly KP's a separate "Home Land' status in Kashmir, along with enough of security. It is conveyed with a heavy heart that so for no tangible efforts have been made by the Government of India, to attend to the burning problems of the forcibly displaced KP's from Kashmir. Only lip sympathies and false assurances have been given when no action has been taken on ground in this regard. Well it may be due to the fact that the displaced KP's are not bearing any vote bank tag and are thus ignored lock stock and barrel. Let the government of India think about it for good governance to deliver the genuine rights to all of its citizens, when the Kashmiri Pandit community is a miniscule community likely to get extinct, ifthe policies of the Government of India towards them continue to be step motherly. A word of wisdom for the governing National Conference political party presently ruling Jammu and Kashmir as also to their dynasty basedwar lords, that the present government of Jammu &Kashmir which is aspiring for statehood should bear it in mind, that Ladakh is already snatched away from Jammu & Kashmir and now is the turn of Jammu. Jammu & Kashmir as a "paradise" on earth is now without Ladakh, a synonym of Buddhist legacy and culture is detached from it. The people of Jammu will be having their own aspiration for a separate identity as a region. Why should they subject themselves to the dictates from the dynastic political leaders of Kashmir to rule them? Under such circumstances if Jammu region too is separated from Jammu & Kashmir, what will remain then? Kashmir will remain a bracketed paradise from " Khanbal" to Khadinyar", or "Mattan" to "Pattan". Let these dynastic politicians from Kashmir think coolly about it. They should compromise with what they have now before it also goes away from them and forget about statehood for Jammu & Kashmir and concentrate on creating a Homeland for the forcibly displaced KP's for their dignified return back to Kashmir.
