Holocaust Day
We should not forget the 19 January 1990 the day of Horror and chill and the fear created by the majority population of the valley. The night was so horrible that it was very difficult to even blink an eye. So was the horror and the cries due to announcements through loudspeakers from the mosques to either embrace Islam or face dire consequences. The macroscopic community decided to leave itsr homes and hearths to save the honour of our women flock. By the night of 19/20 January, 1990, mass exodus took place. The situation was such grave that it is very difficult for me to narrate the scenes, screams and cries of the innocent children, mothers and daughters on leaving their birth places. Kashmin Samiti Delhi took a bold step and sheltered as many as could be possible in our accommodation and with the help of the Government the then in power in creating camps and taking the needy to the shelter KSD worked so hard day and night tirelessly in looking after the exiled community and its miseries.
To carry the legacy forward KSD will observe the Holocaust Day on 20 January, 2018, as per the programme being intimated very soon KSD and its team The community members, aspirants for migration requests the baradari members to participate in large certificate for their wards for higher education or at number along with their families and friends.
