From The Presidents Desk June 1992
Hriday N Nehru, President, Kashmiri Samiti, Delhi 1992
Dear Madam/Sir,
In Koshur Samachar, May 1992 issue, the Samiti has appealed to all Biradari members in Delhi to join the Samiti as life members. This letter is a follow-up of that appeal. The target to be achieved till 30 June 1992 is 5000 and we are happy to request you, your family members and your friends, to come forward to join the Samiti and give a boost to our movement.
Rs. 200.00 as life membership fee, a one time payment, is an ordinary amount and it is our desire that all Kashmiris, not just one family member, who are eligible for membership should join us.
We request you not to fail in your obligations.
Please send your life membership subscription through your area representative by cheque or cash. You can also pay at the Samiti Office or send your cheque in favour of "Kashmiri Samiti,
Delhi" by post. Kindly do not postpone your responsibilities to your Biradari.
While sending us your life membership dues kindly write legibly (1) the Name(s) (ii) the Dates of Birth (i) the Postal Address(es) alongwith Telephone Number(s) and (iv) Profession(s) of the person(s) whose life membership fee is sent by you. This would help us to process it speedily and record it in our books properly. Should you have any questions or need further information kindly do not hesitate to contact us, in person or on telephone or by a letter. We would be glad to have such an inter-action.
Kindly remember, the Samiti with its large membership and democratic functioning will have greater prestige. Our results would be better
Wtih kind regards,
Your Sincerely
Hriday N Nehru
