Our News Folio KS - Anil Awarded Fellowship

Shri Anil Tickoo, son of the noted Urdu short story writer, novelist and playwright Shri Pushkar Nath has been selected for the award of a two-year Junior Fellowship of Rs.3,000/-p.m in the field of theatre by the Department of Culture, Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.

Shri Anil Tickoo, who is a first class M Sc (Physics) from Jammu University, is a well known theatre personality and has been associated with Natrang Theatre Jammu, right from his school days. Widely traveled youngman, he has not only acted in a number of popular plays and T.V. serials but has also directed several of them. He has also specialised in children's theatre. Shri Tickoo has been widely acclaimed for his directorial and acting talents and has won many awards and distinctions.
