Our News Folio Koshur Samachar Felicitation Ms. Chandrakanta    

A well-known Kashmiri Hindi author Ms. Chandrakanta has been awarded prestigious Vyas Samman for 2005 at a ceremony in New Delhi on August 29, 2006. She got it for her novel "Katha Satisar" published in 2001 Smt Sheila Dikshit Chief Minister of Delhi presented the award.

The Vyas Samman instituted by the K K.Birla foundation in 1991, entered its 15th year with the above felicitation Chairman of the Selection Committee Prof Satyprakash Mishra said that Chandrakatan was the third women in row to receive the prestigious award
