implementation It is a sorry state of affairs to state that the employment package, announced by the Prime Minister has remained pending till today The delaying tactics on the part of the State Government in filling remaining 800 posts and non-adjoining of 700 posts from the merit list is still lying with the recruitment agency The advertisement of 3,000 posts, under the state sponsorship, is a matter of concern for the unemployed youth In this state of affairs KP youths are a frustrated lot. They have become over-aged and have lost hopes of securing a job for their livelihood. The demand is genuine and stands justified as and under the cabinet decision No 143/19/2011, dt. 19.8.2011. All the community members need to stand united in this situation and struggle for their survival. It is our fundamental right to fight against the injustice and no hiccups should stand in the way of the struggle.

People at the helm of affairs cannot escape from the genuine problems of Kashmiri Pandits who are exiled from the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The employment package for the KP youth needs to be implemented without further losing precious time. Both the Centre as well as the State should fulfil the long-pending demand of Kashmiri Pandits while absorbing the youths in various departments of the state so that their potential will be used for the overall welfare of the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
