Our News Folio- From Delhi- Festivals, Religious Functions Held
Zeshta Devi Prabandhak Committee, Zeethyar, Srinagar, celebrated the nine days of navaratras with devotional Kashmiri and Hindi bhajans and leelas. On the occasion, a langar was organised by the Group Centre of the Central Reserve Police Force, Ram Bagh and yatries were served with halwa-puri, channa etc.
Kashmiri Sahayak Samiti, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, celebrated Navreh at Sharika Bhawan. On the conclusion of the function ceremonial atta ghat and salt was distributed among the women folk. The Samiti celebrated Ram Navami and janamotsava of Shirdi Sai Bhaba in the K.P. Bhawan. A large number of devotees participated.
Kashmiri Association, Lucknow, performed its annual hawan on February 26 at Kashmir Bhawan, Basant Vihar Colony The Association, also, celebrated Navreh and Zangatrai on March 23. At the function, a packet of salt and five rupees was handed over to each mahila as a token of good omen.
Kashir Sabha Ambala organised a Navreh and Zangatari celebration programme on March 25 at its Kashmir Bhawan complex, Salsehri Road, Ambala Cantonment. Leelas and Bhajans were recited.
Devasthan Prabandhak Samiti, Hawal, Services of A well known Kashmiri Guruji, Jy Raina will be available at Kashmir Bhawan, Ama Nagar-IV, New Delhi-110024, on every Saturday A.M to 5 P.M. and also at his residence 19-B, Poc Vihar, Phase-III (Bank of Baroda Lane) Delhi- between 9 A.M to 7 P.M. For matching of T ceremonies as per Kashmiri tradition.
celebrated the birthday of Mata Beeda Bhagwati, of Hall (Pulwama) Kashmir, on March 21 at Durga Mandir, Durga Nagar, Jammu. The Samiti, also, performed its annual hawan on that occasion.
Swami Sham Lal Hazeem Ashram, Sangrampora, performed a hawan on March 20 and 21 at Jammu, when rich tributes were paid to Swami Sham Lal Ji Hazeem on his Maha Nirvana Divas. Akhand kirtan was held throughout the March 20-March 21 night.
Kashmiri Sewak Samaj, Faridabad, performed its annual hawan at Sharika Bhawan on March 31 and April 1. Over, 1500 baradari members participated in the religious function.
