Our News Folio- From Noida - Shravan Purnima celebration
Shravan Poornima (Raksha Bandhan) is one of the most important dates in Kashmiri Pandits' religious calendar.
In order to uphold our great traditions, cultural ethos and to relive those golden moments in Kashmir, Panun Kashmir (Noida-Unit) organised an early morning "Prayer Sabha'' of Kashmiri Pandits living in and around Noida, on the 28th of August 96 between 6.15 AM. and 8.00 AM at Noida Sports Stadium (Sec-21A)-in which hundreds of men, women and children offered mass prayers in the Glory of Lord Shiva by singing their traditional hymns, Bhajans, Leelas and prayed for His Divine intervention in solving the present J&K imbroglio.
The interesting feature of this programme was that the people came on foot from their respective places, upto the venue of Prayer Sabha in order to recreate the spirit of Swami Amarnath Yatra away from their Homeland
