Dr. P N. Kaul (A/2/38, Safdarjung Enclave, New Delhi) has been awarded the supreme Medical Prize, Medicus Hippocraticus, by the Executive Board of the International Hippocratic Foundation of KOS (IHFK), in Greece. The selection of Dr. Kaul for this unique honour was made by the organising Committee of the First International Medical Olympiad. The presentation was made at the birthplace of Hippocrates, the island of KOS, on the 31st August, 1996 and was combined with the 35th International Congress on the History of Medicine.
