Havisha Karihaloo    

My Kashmir, My Kashmir,

Who has taken you?

Terror has taken you,

These days; I think

You are alone.

Today's scene I never

had dreamed,

The lakes where the boats

sailed,

The gardens where your

Who is enjoying the fragrance

of your flowers?

Who is listening to the sweet

voice of your birds?

Who is watching the beauty

of your mountains?

I know you are alone,

In my heart I pray

for you.
