Ayurvedic Drinks
Some easy Ayurvedic drinks that help cool the body from inside and support healing for psoriasis: Cooling Ayurvedic Drinks for Psoriasis 1. Coriander Seed Water Ingredients: 1 tablespoon coriander seeds 1 glass water Method: Soak coriander seeds overnight in a glass of water. Strain and drink the water the next morning on an empty stomach. Benefits: Coriander reduces internal heat (Pitta) and purifies the blood, which is important in skin healing. 2. Amla (Indian Gooseberry) Juice Ingredients: Method: 2 tablespoons fresh amla juice (or use organic amla powder mixed in water) 1 glass of water A little honey if needed Method: Mix amla juice with water. Blend cucumber ad mint leaves with water. Strain and add a tew drops of lemon. Drink it fresh. Benefits: Add honey for taste if required and drink once daily. Benefits: Very refreshing, controls body heat and soothes inflammation. 4. Vetiver (Khus) Infused Water Ingredients A few strands of vetiver roots (available at Ayurvedic shops) Method: 1 jug of water Amla is rich in Vitamin C. boosts iminunity, cools the body, and improves skin texture. 3. Mint and Cucumber Cooler Ingredients: A handful of mint leaves ½ cucumber I glass of water A little lemon juice Soak vetiver roots in water for a few hours (or overnight) Drink this lightly flavored, aromatic water. through the day Benefits: Vetiver is highly cooling, calms the mind, and helps in balancing Pitta dosha (which often gets aggravated in psoriasis). 5. Aloe Vera Juice Ingredients: 2 tablespoons fresh aloe vera gel 1 glass of water A little honey (optional) Method: Blend aloe vera gel with water. Strain and drink in the morning. Benefits: Internally cools the system, supports liver detoxification, and promotes skin healing General Tips: Drink these cooling drinks early moming or mid-morning, not late at night. Avoid caffeinated, carbonated, and spicy beverages they worsen skin conditions. Stay well hydrated through the day simple water itself is powerful!
