Coffee Table book on Revival of Temple Dancing released

It was a greaUL 42 Dr Chandra Kant Gariyali  t feeling when I was asked to release the Coffee Table Book titled Revival of Temple Dancing- VASANT UTSAV, a coffee table book, authored by Dr Chandra Kant Gariyali, IAS and her daughter Priyadarshini Raj Kumar was released in Bengaluru on February 1, 2023. The book was released by R K Mattoo, senior journalist and Chairman, Kashmiri Hindu Cultural Welfare Trust (KHCWT) at a two-day New Varsh Maha Utsav 2023 organised by Saraswati Educational Cultural & Charitable Trust in association with Union Ministry of Culture and Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) at Seva Sadan Auditorium in Malleshwaram Bengaluru. ICCR Regional Director Sunil Kumar Singh who was the chief guest was felicitated and three out standing artists were presented with Indira Gariyali Award for the year 2023. The SECCT run by Dr Gariyali IAS, Founder Trustee & Ex-Sectary Govt. of Tamil Nadu and author of "KASHMIR- THE LAND OF KASHYAP, felicitated Sh. R K Mattoo for his contribution in the field of community service in Karnataka. She lauded the services rendered by the trust to the community after the mass exodus in 1990. The programme ended with startling dance performances by young and experienced artists.
