A 20-year-old young boy hailing from village Kalsan was killed late Thursday night when he was hit by a stray bullet while he was attending a marriage function organised in one of the forward villages located less than 500 metres from the line of control in Poonch.

According to eyewitness reports, "large number of guests were sitting in the open after having dinner when firing from the Pakistani side started in which 20 year Mohd Ikhlaq son of Mohd Sadiq was hit by a stray bullet late Thursday night". He later succumbed to his injuries.
