Kashmin Samiti Delhi wishes happy Shivaratri to the community biradan. Hope everyone must have celebrated Shivaratri with great enthusiasm. The spring season has set in and the atmosphere has changed.

A great tragedy happened at Pulwama where 41 CRPF personnel were brutally killed by a Pakistan-trained terrorist (fidayeen) A powerful IED was blasted by the Sidayeen terrorist due to which two carriers, carrying the CRPF team were blown into smithereens and the dead bodies could not be recognized. The whole country was shocked on hearing this news. Almost throughout India, people showed their concern and anger against Pakistan and paid rich floral tributes to the martyrs.

KSD, also, condemned the barbaric massacre and appealed to the community brothers to assemble at Jantar Mantar to pay "Sheridan" to the brave soldiers who laid their lives for the country. A candle march was taken out.

The Government of India had promised to the country their that a lesson will be taught to Pakistan at an appropriate time for this barbaric act. An airstrike was carried out by the great Indian Air Force which destroyed as many as 15 terror camps across the Line of Control which must have given a great blow to the terrorist organisations of Pakistan, especially Jaish-e- Muhammad organisation which conducted this barbaric act Kashmiri Samiti Delhi wishes that God may bestow peace to the departed souls and provide solace to the bereaved families .

Annual Mahayajna

The annual Mahayajnya of Kashmiri Samiti Delhi was performed on 23 and 24th February 2019, at Kashmir Bhawan, Amar Colony, Lajpat Nagar IV New Delhi. Kalshapooja was done at 7:30 pm. Shi Danish Pandita and Shri Ashok Bhat performed the Pooja The Hawan Pooja was undertaken by Shri Pawan J and others who are well conversant about Shastra. Kashmir religious Bhajans were chanted throughout the night. The whole atmosphere became more religious due to the chanting of Mantras and Vedat Shri Madan Lal Jee Member Dehi.

Legislative Assembly, also, joined the function He was accompanied by his staff He also joined the Pooja and was very happy to see our community's performing Hawan His simplicity was beyond description, he waited The Puranaahut was over On this occasion also, the community members paid rich tributes to the martyrs Shri Madan al Ji also joined us in paying the tributes Al 1.30pm. the Naveed Vitran took place and about 200-250 community members joined us on Naveed. We are thankful to the organisations from Delhi and NCT which joined us and also prominent personalities, viz S/Shri CL Gadoo, M. K Machamma, TN Razdan Kundan Kashmin and many more We are thankful to the staff of the organisation for their selfies services. We are also thankful to the Executive members for devoted services.

Wing Comdr Abhinandan's brave act

A great fighter Wing Comdr Abhinandan while chasing enemy's fighter planes, which were trying to cross the borders for damaging our army installations, showed his wits and chased the enemy fighter planes and did not allow them to cross the border. He hit the Pak plane. His aircraft was shot down in the Pak territory He was arrested by the Pak Army and taken to an unknown place. Because of the pressure mounted by the Indian Government and the international community, the Pak Government got compelled to set him free and hand over to the Indian authorities at the Wagha Border KSD Election.

The Executive Council of KSD, at its meeting held on 9 March, 2019, resolved that the election for the management of KSD shall take place on 12" May 2019, but, later it had to change the date to 19 May. 2019 (Sunday) keeping in view the Parliamentary elections in the country and in Delhi. It was, also, resolved that keeping in view the admission of the migrant wards, no hindrance should be there in issuing recommendation letters for migrant certificates. All parents are requested to, kindly, note that they can collect the recommendation letters without any problem.
