PATNITOP

Good things come to those who hustle.

Patnitop Travel Guide A beautiful hill resort situated in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, Patnitop was originally known as ‘Patan Da Talab’ which literally translates to ‘The Pond of the Princess.’ Located on a scenic plateau of the Shiwalik range of the Himalayas, this tourist place in Jammu Region boasts green meadows and panoramic views of the glittering snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. It is one of the best travel destinations in India to experience the undisturbed beauty of nature

patnitop is among the most visited pilgrimage destinations of India. People from far and wide come here to pay homage at the shrine of the deity. Followers of the deity make it a point to visit the shrine at least once in their lifetime as they believe it brings them good luck and washes away their sins. Its spiritual worth and the mythologies associated attract both random travelers and devotees. Keeping this in mind we have designed Mata Vaishno Devi and Patnitop Tour Package. We pick you from the Jammu Railway Station and take you to Katra. Thereafter, you board a chopper for Shanjichat. From here, the trek to the main shrine begins. After reaching the temple and paying homage, we trek back to Shanjichat, where the chopper waits to take you back to Katra. Besides the pilgrimage to Mata Vaishno Devi, we take you to one of the popular shrines of Patnitop – the Nag Temple. Thereafter, you can indulge in some sightseeing, which includes a visit to the Pandora Enclave, Sanasar (famous as mini Gulmarg regarded as one of the most remote areas of India) and Nathatop (famous for adventure activities like paragliding). Then you return to Katra and where you are transferred to Jammu station.
