Martand

Delhi - In a Diwali congregation at Dwarika. New Delhi, Genl. Secy Delhi Unit ASKPC. Kudan Kashmiri, categorically rejected the demand of Autonomy to J&K as raised by the State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. He said that Indian Nation in general and KPs in particular would be looser of any dialogue related to Kashmir, with Pakistan, Hurriyat or any other fundamentalist. He pointed out that much feelers and indications are there that GOL Pakistan and Hurriyat are working through track II diplomacy and other channels to provide some political package to the people Kashmir without exposing it or involving genuine and actual parties like KPs in it Expressing annoyance and general feelings of the community he said that GOl is deliberately ignoring real origins of Kashmir viz Kashmir Pandits, from the said dialogue, which is totally un-justified, unfair and breach of trust.

Speaking in the function he straight away demanded grant of "Kashyap Home Land" for Kashmiri Pandits in the valley with free flow of Indian Constitution. However he hoped that Government would invite KP representatives under the banner of ASKPC for dialogue with the P.M. during his visit to Kashmir.

Concluding his speech, he cautioned the Govt. if any decision of such important and sensitive nature was taken without participation of KPs representation or without considering of "Kashyap Home Land", the KP community would be forced to come out on streets to launch an agitation and fight for the genuine rights. With regard to return of KPs to the valley he said that till the outcome of the said dialogue between GOl and Pakistan would come out before the community, the collective return of displaced KPs is impossible.

Other leaders of the organization who also spoke in the congregation include B L Thusoo, S L Zutushi, R L Raina, Dr H L Saraf, Prof M L Raina, Prof S L Sher etc. who stressed for unity of ideology sanction within the community
