08 Op-KS-01042012 Our News Folio- From The Capital - KPC criticizes delay in appointing KP Youths

While addressing party activists and a group of unemployed KP youths at New Delhi, Kundan Kashmiri, KPC Chief, criticised the state and the Centre Governments for delaying the appointment process of six thousand posts announced by the Prime Minister of India in April, 2008, for the internally-displaced KP youths. He said that long delay in the appointment process made these KP youths suffer more, harping from pillar to post in search of their survival means and now left with no alternative for them but to sit on hunger-strike. Kundan Kashmiri further said if the said appointment process would continue in the same manner it would take more than a decade to complete. this process and for the persons, this special package was announced by the PM, would become over-aged, old and finally the package would lose its utility and purpose.

Kundan Kashmiri disclosed that this case has been taken in the court of the National Human Rights Commission to intervene at the earliest to get this appointment process accelerated and appointment for remaining 3,000 posts to be made in Central Government departments, LIC, Railway etc. at the earliest. He advised the community youths not to get disheartened and get united for their cause and assured them of his full support to their struggle.

KPC chief also vehemently condemned all those anti-KP forces which are against the passage of KPS Temple and Shrine Bill in the State Assembly and stated that it is basically the present ruling political parties of the J&K state which are not interested in getting this Bill passed in order to appease a certain section of people, ignoring the religious sentiments of lakhs of KPS residing in the state and outside.

Other important party activists and youths who participated and spoke in the meeting were: Senior Vice President KPC, Shri M.L. Raina, Dr. H.L. Saraf, Advisor KPC, Shri R.L. Trisal, Secretary KPC, Shri Rajesh Rahi, Treasurer KPC, Shri Shusheel Bhat, Organizing Secretary, S.L Zuthsi, Senior Member, KPC, Shri Surender Kumar, KPC youth leaders and others.
