Human Rights Violations in J&K by C L Gadoo & Dr M K Teng were realesed.

A 20-page booklet entitled "Human Rights Violations in Jammu and Kashmir" authored by Shri CL Gadoo, former President, Kashmiri Samiti, Delhi, and Dr. MK Teng, former Head of Political Science Department, Kashmir University, was released by Shri Krishen Lal Sharma, Vice-President, Bharatiya Janata Party, at a function organised on December 11, 1994, in connection with the World Human Rights Day The booklet, details the atrocities perpetrated on the KP community during the past five years and provides a comprehensive glimpse of the definition of Human Rights of individuals and societies, recognised by the United Nations Organisation under the various covenants approved by the world body during the past forty and odd years, and the responsibilities of States in this connection.

A booklet on the same subject, by the same authors, was first published in 1993 by the Kashmiri Samiti, Delhi, at a special function organised then for the purpose. This year, the release function was attended by the Delhi Chief Minister. Shri Madan Lal Khurana, the Delhi BJP Chief, Shri O.P Kohli. Shri B.L. Sharma Prem. (Member, Lok Sabha), Prof VK Malhotra (Member, Rajya Sabha), Lt Gen Khanduri (Member, Lok Sabha) and General (Retd) Candeth, among others.

As has already been reported, the Bharatiya Janata Party is planning to organise human-chains shortly on the country's borders with Pakistan in J&K, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat, and with Bangladesh in West Bengal to highlight the problem of infiltration and Pakistani sponsored terrorism in various parts of the country, J&K particularly, which the infiltration helps.
