Major General Tejinder Kumar has taken over as Additional Director General (ADG) of the NCC Directorate, J&K and Ladakh.

An alumnus of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, he was commissioned into the Corps of Signals in March 1988. He graduated from the prestigious St Xavier’s College, did his B.Tech from the JNU and Masters from Osmania University.

“The officer has served in varied terrain and prestigious assignments.. An alumnus of the NCC, he has passed A, B and C certificates of the NCC and also attended RDC camp. He was also awarded Governor’s Medal for All round Best Cadet in NCC,” an official spokesperson said.
