Kavinder, Sunil ridicule Mehbooba’s remarks

Date:- 22 Jul 2018

Taking strong exception of the recent charge by former J&K Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, wherein she alleged the usage of NIA by Centre Government to win over the PDP MLAs, former Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta said that PDP president is making such utterances out of frustration, which are highly irresponsible, false and misleading.
Kavinder Gupta said that earlier Mehbooba had levelled false charges against the Union Government and the BJP of horse trading and luring her party MLAs and now dragging NIA name in her politics of frustration. He alleged that former CM do not have respect for the premier agencies of the country and she can go to any extent to cover her own failure to keep her party intact.
“Will Mehbooba Mufti answer whether it is not true that number of PDP MLAs have gone public to charge her of nepotism and promoting family interests and ignoring the elected representatives and their constituencies”, Kavinder questioned and added that her own failure to take MLAs together has resulted into revolt within party and there is no role of BJP or Union Government or any other body for the developments taking place in the PDP after coalition breakup in the state.
Gupta advised Mehbooba Mufti to utilize her energy and time to work on ground for the development and peace in Kashmir Valley instead of making such type of irresponsible statements and allegations which not only further tarnish her image as a politician but also invite resentment from the general public.
Meanwhile, Jammu West Assembly Movement president Sunil Dimple in a press statement here has said that BJP should clear its stand on the charges levelled by PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti, in which she has mentioned that New Delhi was using NIA, offering money and ministerial berths to break up BDP MLAs. He said that BJP must clear its stand and Governor N N Vohra must dissolve State Assembly without any more delay.
Sunil Dimple also condemned the former chief Minister Ms Mufti for her anti-national statement that more people like Salauddin and Yasin Malik would take birth in Kashmir. He alleged that action should be taken against the people issuing communal, divisive and anti-national statements.
