Sleuths of the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh got 7-day police custody remand of Ramesh Shah, the kingpin of the gang which the ATS unearthed in Gorakhpur a few days back in connection with terror funding. According to official communiqué, Shah(28), arrested in Pune on last Tuesday was brought here in Lucknow and produced before a local court on Friday. On request of ATS, the court sanctioned 7 days police custody remand of Shah. ATS claimed that besides trying to extract information about his Pakistan based handlers, they will try to get names of his other cohorts as well as how money has been forwarded by him to terror outfits.
